Roll Over and Die vol 4: I think this is the first volume of this series that I actually thought was good, no weird caveats. Actually interesting character development, good action, and conflict didn’t feel as randomly out of left field as usual while still managing to be weird, confusing, and grotesque.

In the Land of Leadale vol 6: I’m a couple behind on this series. It’s… consistently okay. I’m just committed at this point. I feel like when the series ends it’s going to be 3 volumes of content scattered across 10 volumes, but flagged as slice of life to make it seem like there wasn’t supposed to be progress anyways.

I May Be a Guild Receptionist, but I’ll Solo Any Boss to Clock Out on Time vol 1: Saw the anime announcement, thought it sounded neat, picked it up. This is just gold. I thought it would mostly be goofy fun, but it got pretty tense with some neat character development and solid action. It’s probably not good that Alina is so relatable. Picked up the second one last night, very excited for more.

Glad to hear this one has some substance to it. I hadn’t heard of this series until the anime announcement, but I was cautiously optimistic based on the synopsis/premise. Now, I am genuinely looking forward to it.

I enjoyed In the land of Leadale.

Just note that volume 8 ends at a big build up and after 2 years there’s still no Volume 9. I just hope it is still active.
