    Liberals are ideologicaly pro capital, and pro IP, Piracy stands in the way of both of them. It would be expected that they would block it. Honestly just a matter of time

      The defining characteristic of a liberal is recognizing that society is too far to the right but attempts to fix it (move left) via mechanisms that already exist within that flawed society, and thus are inevitably ineffective

      Nothing to do with moving right, which is what this move is an example of
