That’s about 20% of the population that works for the state. 35% of them are under contract. Out of how many total? I’ve seen references that say over 55% of all employees in Argentina are employed by the public sector.
For February 2023, Argentina has about 3 and a half million public employees . That’s about 20% of the population that works for the state.
35% of them are under contract.
