Halo Infinite had an update that amongst other things added in Easy Anti-Cheat, which thankfully has been enabled so it still works on Linux Desktop and Steam Deck.
Security is the main reason I’m considering switching to flatpak Steam. Being able to limit system access for Steam and its games to ~/Games is a blessing and easy to do with flatseal.
The disadvantage is getting new mesa (graphics driver) versions later.
I’d be wary, it’s possible there’s an arbitrary code execution exploit in EAC right now
