Yes exactly, but it can appear less natural, as mastadon displays it’s posts differently. Not sure about the specifics. But lemmy.ml and Lemmy.world is seamless
They’re both Lemmy servers, so probably not the best comparison. A better one might be kbin.social as compared to lemmy.world, since Kbin is something that’s neither Lemmy nor Mastodon, but will work with both thanks to ActivityPub.
