I didn’t get an iPod until Gen 2, but I got it through a pyramid scheme involving collecting enough codes through subscribing to services that you would get a free iPod out of it. They didn’t expect people to get onto forums and share codes. Oops.
I got like 6 apple tv’s for free from signing up for DIRECT TV NOW when they had that promotion. It was great. Only needed 2. Made money switching to them from xfinity and never had to pay a bill since I just used that Apple TV money earned to pay it.
I’ve always wondered if people like you existed for real. That’s some real cartoony, Disney channel original movie type scheming there. Good to know you got one over on a grifter too.
