minus-square@Selenilink1•edit-29 months agoAnd North America. Mostly on the west coast of the US and BC, although they have cousins sometimes called ‘mountain laurel’ on the east coast of the US. Confusingly, in some places on the east coast, they call mountain laurel ‘rhododendron’ as well.

I’m pretty sure that rhododendrons originate from Asia.
