It's come as a shock to many that they can't delete their Threads profile without also deleting their Instagram account.

    Apparently you can deactivate your Threads profile, though. You just can’t delete it separately since it is the same account as your IG account.

      Yep. True. I guess it’s just to give the users some semblance of control with their data.
