minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilinkEnglish1•8 months agoYeah, although that example kinda is one of the older, not very commercialized, tech demo uses of ai. It still could be misused, but the harm that could come from that specific app is very very minimal, compared to most uses of ai now.
There are examples of good things from it — the species ID suggestion tools on iNaturalist come to mind.
