In fact, considering the witness tampering and his absolute non-existent remorse, his sentence might be on the lower end of his sentencing range.
Everyone appeals. There’s no risk in doing so and who knows, maybe you’ll get lucky. He has millions stashed away so $1 million for a 1% chance of success is likely worth it for him.
