I mean I agree with your second paragraph minus the last step. I think netanyahu is just a genocidal nutjob that wants to wipe out Palestine rather than orchestrate some grand plot to drag the US into another war. But no, I vehemently disagree with the first statement. Just because we are allies with Israel doesn’t mean we must unconditionally support them. We have a treaty with Ukraine signed in 1993 that says we’ll support and defend their sovereignty, but we still condition aid on it not being used to strike Russian soil. Not to mention Israel is violating so fucking many international laws. It’s irresponsible to aid that.

And again, unconditional support and even rhetorical cover makes us look like we’re Israel’s bitch. The world is already laughing. Nazis are having a fucking field day.
