Mine has to be Dragon Quest: Rocket Slime, a DS spin off of the Dragon Quest series that sees you playing as a slime operating a tank and rescuing the people from your town. You run around the overworld, collecting items to use as ammunition and saving money to upgrade your tank. The art and music are just as great as you’d expect from the Dragon Quest series. It made fantastic use of the DS’s dual screens. It’s also written for a younger audience, so a lot of it is just really silly and fun! Try it out for sure, I’m so sad there’s no sequel :(

The Secret World. Not a flawless game, but the world building is awesome

Is it still going? I think about starting it up from time to time just for the solo experience to see the story.

Last I checked it was, but it’s no where near as good as when it launched. Tons of content was ‘streamlined’ (removed) and the class mechanics are incredibly watered down.

That’s sad to hear, I had always been interested in the worldbuilding and the story, but just didn’t have the time to get into in.

Last I checked, if you had an account from back in the day, you could still play on the servers, even with other people (there is still an active community on discord for events and raids and pvp and such).

But no. Don’t play that abomination on steam.
