This is quite exciting in that it removes plastic waste. I see no reason why different companies can’t make different shape ones to maintain their lock-in. I expect a knock-off market to pop-up, but that exists with plastic pods too. It’s a step in the right direction at least.

    That has always been my issue with the K cup. It isn’t recyclable and isn’t biodegradable.

    I want a pod I can throw in the mulch.

      There’s at least one company that makes compostable pods, I don’t remember the name, but my roommate used to get them all the time

        I avoid k pods when I can for that reason. It’s expensive and they just take up landfill space.

          Not sure if you misread my comment, but I’m saying there’s at least one brand of pods that you can compost
