Mine has to be Dragon Quest: Rocket Slime, a DS spin off of the Dragon Quest series that sees you playing as a slime operating a tank and rescuing the people from your town. You run around the overworld, collecting items to use as ammunition and saving money to upgrade your tank. The art and music are just as great as you’d expect from the Dragon Quest series. It made fantastic use of the DS’s dual screens. It’s also written for a younger audience, so a lot of it is just really silly and fun! Try it out for sure, I’m so sad there’s no sequel :(

Last time I tried to install AO, it just wouldn’t do it. Time before that, I had horrible performance with a newer computer. After those I’ve just decided it’s best left in my memories. Boy, do I miss it sometimes though.

Last time it got so bad that I started duping to be able to function there with a new character without nolifing the game. Something which I had promised myself not to do ever in this game, ever since I learned how back in 2007.

I heard a lot of people with performance issues, luckily I never had that problem myself for whatever reason. Regardless if it was with the new or old engine.

Then again, if I ever decide to play again, I have an entire roster of lvl1 chars with the entire set of the store QoLs to go, from all the keys to the gardens, to stupid amounts of VP/tokens, to banks and portable stores and even endgame armors and a complete set of twinking weapons/armors for every skill/ability at every breakpoint. So it’ll be easy to get back into it.

Though I doubt I ever will again.
