So let me make a game that will work for exactly 3 hours and break. It’s the same concept here. They made the game. It worked for months. Now magically it won’t.

How’s it the same? They told everyone you needed psn, it was a restriction when the game came out, it lead to issues, they paused it and are now implementing it again.

A better example would be WoW making the game free for 3 months due to a card charging issue and people getting mad when they say they need to charge again.

It never worked as designed from the start it was broken, so they paused a requirement that was always there, and are now reimplementing it. The other option was to delist the game, but that would make the same people mad for a different issue, it’s a lose/lose situation for everyone.

Anyone who couldn’t read the steam page, or the giant splash screen when you launched the game, only have themselves to blame. This is literally brought on by people’s own stupidity, but defend that stupidity, please, let everyone else know you defend stupidity.

But sure make a game that works for 3 hours, totally the same thing lmfao.

They didn’t tell me shit. I bought the game. I got to that part. It let me skip it without anything saying that it would become a requirement at a later point. What about that is being told? This is literally the first time I’ve heard about this being a hard requirement. This also proves that it’s not actually a hard requirement. They can choose to do it.

But defend big corporations for unenforceable EULAs. Let everyone else know you defend Big Sony.

Steams page listed it, if you played at launch you were required to link it, and the splash screen said it was mandatory.

I’m sorry you apparently can’t fucking read, this isn’t a hard thing to grasp or anything. If you want to pretend to willfully ignorant after saying you read at least one of them. That’s entirely on you lmfao.

I love how this is showing all the morons who can’t read for shit, of FOSS this and FOSS that, open source this, Linux that, but can’t read a steam page before buying… huh. People keep showing their hypocrisy all over this place.

Edit Holy fucking shit!!! you literally have a Comment complaining about how people don’t read your door. You really want to die on this fucking hill? What a shocker, another hypocrite….

That’s the point. I didn’t buy it at launch. I missed the whole debacle. Actually would have returned it instantly. If I wasn’t allowed to skip the login.

Yes… 10 words is definitely the same as a long ass unenforceable EULA. You’re quite special you know… In a bad way just so that’s clear. I’m sure Sony loves you.

Edit: Oh by the way Mr Sony Shill… Have you actually read their EULA? The login to their network isn’t a part of it. https://store.steampowered.com/app/553850/HELLDIVERS_2/
            https://www.playstation.com/legal/op-eula/ nor https://store.steampowered.com/eula/553850_eula_0

Neither make it a requirement for mandatory steam linking. So you want to complain about people not being able to read… It’s not even in there to read. Talk about hypocrite! Telling people to read content that doesn’t even exist to read.

A whole EULA…? It was listed as a steam requirement on the store, and you said you read the splash screen.

You are being extremely disingenuous now. Which fallacy is next? I think this conversation is done since you clearly have zero interest in acknowledging that you read and ignored it, even though you said you read it.

and you said you read the splash screen.

Damn you couldn’t even read my post… Nothing on the “splash screen” said that skipping the login was temporary. I read it perfectly fine. Nothing in the game itself made it clear that it was required. Nothing exists in the EULA (EVEN NOW) that says it’s a requirement.

Read better next time please. And maybe stop shilling for mega-corps. They don’t actually like or care for you.

                  Wow…

For your edit in the previous comment.

REQUIRES. What does it say…? Please tell the rest of the class.

From your first link, that’s been there since the game was listed on Steam. And why do you keep screaming about a EULA? You brought it up, and it isn’t even part of the argument why are you trying to move goalposts now? See I knew you would find another one.

I’m not even addressing this one since you’ve already proved multiple times you are incapable of comprehending what you’re reading. The splash screen said it was required, why are you claiming it’s not? Just because it was bypassable is moot.
