1 day later: “So would you guys pay for content?”

For the record, I have nothing against OF or using a free platform to form an organic audience to convert a small percentage into paying customers.

Just be honest, because there’s no way you didn’t already have an account ready to go for when your audience is large enough.

Being dishonest is a bad look.

things change. i do this with my partner and have been getting a much larger reach than i expected, and have had people message me asking for more exclusive content. we do this because it turns us on, and whoring me out for money makes it that much more filthy and depraved.

think what you want, and we’ll do the same x

Oh I don’t doubt it turns you both on. Good luck with it, it’s difficult to make good money in a saturated online creator space like OF with largest income being generated by the top 0.001% on the platform.

But from your timing and community posting patterns, as someone who’s worked in digital marketing, this was a textbook example of a grass-roots campaign to build an audience for commercial content production.

You might want to specialise in a niche as that will create a stronger core audience, particularly if it is an under-served niche.

If it’s depravity that’s a major driver for this project, perhaps you could frame it as a “couple’s journey down into depravity” and bring the audience along for the ride. That’s an angle I haven’t seen done a lot and would mean your audience is invested in the whole timeline of content, not just individual pieces. It also allows for a mixture of low to high production value content so the engagement is consistent and regular, a key driver of building an online audience as I’m sure you know.

Best of luck out there x

genuinely, thank you for the constructive advice. we are definitely on a journey in depravity and wanting to share it with the world, but for now just figuring out what works i guess

Yeah, you have to be oblivious to not see this right off the bat. The massive post volume strategically spread out to ensure it overtakes organic posting. I audibly said I’d give it less than a week before the monetization comes after her first batch of posts.

There’s nothing wrong with a combination of sex work and exhibitionism, but there is a large difference in interactions between someone just having fun and someone intent on monetization. To be successful, you need to pick lane or you’ll fail at both.
