It’s not that the employer isn’t paying taxes/pocketing the taxes, it’s that the SovCit is filling out nonsense “forms” saying they’re exempt from paying their taxes… which they’re not exempt, they’re just a dumbass that thinks being a sovereign citizen means they aren’t subject to the restrictions of living within the borders of the US and can say the right magic words to get their way.
Thanks for the explanation! Apparently my misunderstanding of the messages horribly offended at least 11 people who felt the need to downvote me instead of just telling me why I was wrong so I’ll probably just delete the comment though lol
This is why I hate the downvote system. It’s way too easy to think UHH POST BAD and smack the down arrow like a trained monkey, and comparatively “difficult” to actually explain why you disagree… even though that explanation could help many other readers, including commenters like you who are willing to learn.
