As there has been some interest in a live thread such as the ones on r/eurovision, here is the live thread for the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024.
Sadly, I didn’t find any Lemmy equivalent to https://reddit-stream.com/. But as this community is still pretty small, I think refreshing the website once after each song should be okay.

Can you tell me some examples of what he said? I’m German (too?) but I’m watching the YouTube livestream because I wanna see it without moderation (and because I’ve heard bad things about the moderator, but that was the one back then, I think since last or this year we have a new one).
I feel like the new commentator is trying really hard to copy the style of Peter Urban.
I’ll probably watch the next semi final without the German comments
He basically got a script written for Peter Urban, so that’s why the style was so similar. I still have some hope it gets better once he gets a little used to it.
