Has anyone ever experienced depersonalisation or derealisation when smoking?

I did for the first time and was almost a psychedelic experience. I felt like my brain and body had separated and I was watching myself from inside.

It only last about an hour but was very surreal!

Sorry to hear you went through it too! It certainly was very scary for me. I thought I was going to die, though I was oddly content about it happening. On reflection, that’s quite good to know, but still didn’t stop it from being a scary experience at the time!

As I learned the best way to deal with this was just ignoring it. First few times it got me though, but when it turned out I didn’t die after all, I said fuck it and just enjoyed my time.

Hower derealization / depersonalization / panic attack are nasty trio. 0/10 can’t recommend

Nice one, super stoked you got through it! Ignoring it shall be my tactic. I’ve briefed my girlfriend on it and she was amazing getting me through it last time.

You’re right, having all 3 at once certainly didn’t happen!
