One thing I have allways wondered, do the locals pet the street cats in Istanbul?
I’ve never been, but I’ve seen videos and it seems like the answer is yes!
The reason I asked is that I wonder if there is an issue with fleas in the cat population, and if it could spread to humans…
i believe fleas are extremely species-specific and the only animals you need to worry about catching them from are like, gorillas and other humans.
Nah you can get then from your pets. They just won’t survive on just your blood and will die after annoying you for some time.
