I remember someone complaining about black trim + wood trim getting mixed onto the same Tesla a few weeks ago, but I don’t remember the link. But it definitely seems like your standard “end of quarter” push from Tesla, where quality declines dramatically as the factories go on overdrive.

We’re all largely keen on all the Tesla quality issues around here, but it still amuses me how much WORSE they get during these end-of-quarter pushes. If anyone actually wants to get a Tesla, please at least avoid the low-quality shoddy and high-pressure sales tactics associated with end-of-quarter pushes.

This is a company that needlessly harms itself, its customers, and its staff with inconsistent “bursty” deliveries, instead of trying to work consistently all the time.

I don’t think any Tesla-fan is even caring about the week-to-week numbers anymore, yet they still try to pad / fake these end-of-quarter numbers to impress the (no longer caring) superfans.

Yeah, it’s crazy that their largest sales push sells vehicles that their largest production push botches constantly. Needless self owns. But improving quality would require such a cultural shift that it just will never happen. So here we are, every quarter end. 😆
