I got a visa to travel to China as a tourist in 2016. They charged a high price but gave me a 10-year visa. It’s still active. My passport will expire before that visa does.
This feels like a mistake. China, notoriously, was overrun with CIA operatives a decade ago. They purged the CIA network, and now they’re letting the CIA re-establish one?
If the CIA wants to set up shop in China, they aren’t going to let the allowed number of tourist visas be the thing that stops them.
