Hot take, I know. But it needs to be said before anything else.

I seem to be surviving so far. A little over two years from my diagnosis. Radiation, chemo, several surgeries, and now immunotherapy weekly. The cancer seems to be gone for now, but my body is wrecked from all the treatments.

Oh the irony.

But I’m still here. Hugs and hope to everyone else dealing with this bullshit. If you want to talk, @ me. <3

I wholeheartedly agree, fuck cancer. I’m glad you’re still here! And thank you for posting and helping this community grow.

    How are you handeling immunotherapy?

It’s pretty easy, all things considered. It makes me really tired for a day or two and I’m getting a few side effects. But really, they are pretty low grade when compared to the all the after effects of surgery and radiation.

And it seems to be actually working, which is amazing. Apparently that puts me in the minority, which is a good thing for once.

So, have you ever met someone who doesn’t like cute kittens?

Glad to hear that it’s been relatively easy on you. And of course even happier to heat that it is working!

And yes I have in fact, but just once, someone who was both allergic to and fearful of cats no matter their size or cute appearance.
