I’ve had Tem Tem on my wishlist for a long time, but I’ve never seen it at a price that I felt I could get my money’s worth, as I generally only enjoy this type of game up until the point the grind becomes too tedious. More than happy to grab it here, as I’ve also been interested in Outer Worlds, and I’m slowly building up the entire Yakuza series from bundles.

It’s alright. It’s the most polished Pokemon clone out there but it’s so obsessed with literally being Pokemon that it’s not much better.

The 2v2 combat is better than Pokemon, don’t get me wrong, but it’s more grindy and there are way too many forced trainer battles. Exploration is pretty slow. It’s online-only despite the multiplayer features feeling very tacked on. Oh, and there’s a battle pass and cash store because of course there is.

There’s better pokemon-esque games out there. I really enjoyed Monster Sanctuary, and Cassette Beasts looks really good as well.
