I was able to generate the otp auth URL which gave me the secret and algorithm used. But KeepassXC additionally asks for “time step” and “code size”. What settings do I need to use?
Note that I did locked out myself with misconfiguration, but recovered it.

The QR code contains that. Usually “time step” is 30s, and “code size” is 6. It’s possible for them to differ, but very rare.
Those are the defaults, and that setting didn’t work.
