    Tl;Dr: they sent fruit/bean samples out for geochemistry to find a trace elements signature of beans grown in the specific Kona region. Now they can compare that to beans claiming to be Kona that aren’t actually Kona.

    This is weirdly coincidental. Just did the Greenwell Kona coffee tour yesterday. Their French roast is next level.
