When police had to fire shots against those peaceful farmers who shot manure against the houses of politicians? Where the Animal-industry founded the populist, conservative BBB party to fight against regulations?
Or the one in Germany, where representative of the far right AfD has meetings with the dairy and animal industry to fight any regulations against the destruction of the environment? Where there were protests under the German Reich flag, attacks against politicians and dreams of a insurrection?
Those farmers are not like those in the books you read as a child, its a massive industrial complex which had never to face responsibility for the destruction they profit from. It is driven from the animal industry because they fear change which is necessary to ensure that we can grow food in the coming years and not have a barren wasteland.

Record profits due to inflation and one good year don’t change the fact that most EU agricultural products are produced for almost the same price as they are sold for, the profit is very small.
