A metal 3D printer will soon be used on the International Space Station. All going well, 3D-printed metal parts could eventually help with the construction of a base on the Moon.
I want to see the 3d concrete printer on the moon. Start with a big hole or cave of any sort and build out a large reinforced structure insulated and protected from radiation, then spray coating the interior to seal.

Sounds cool, tbh. And yeah of course long-term if we want to utilize 3D-printing for rapid exploration/colonization, it has to work in quasi-0g.
