The LP06 was designed by Vyktar Prykhodeka, a Russian residing in Malaysia. It was unveiled in 2006 and was scheduled to enter production by 2009, but complications arose that prevented it from being produced. Since then, there have been no further developments on this design.

I have seen better looking prop guns on YouTube videos made by 8 year olds.
That sight seems incredibly far away from the barrel to be accurate without having to look down through it as opposed to straight ahead.
The pistol variant seems like it would fit in a sci-fi setting tho.
I don’t want to be overly pedantic (but I’m going to be). All sights are angled down compared to the barrel, or the other way to look at it is that all barrels are angled up compared to the sights. Sights that are perfectly parallel with the barrel wouldn’t work as desired.
While a very high sight-over-bore height can make some exaggerated differences throughout the ballistic arc, it’s perfectly possible to zero very high sights.
Sure; but they’re not usually a whole freakin’ foot away from the barrel so you’re not angling them down nearly as far.
It also doesn’t really look like you can adjust the sight on the gun in the OP.
It’s a ring mount that an optic would go inside.
Looks like someone took an L85 removed the barrel guard and slapped an oversize FAMAS handle on it.
