I suggest Jelly Donut on 24th St/Van Ness. Not overly sweet or oily. Perfectly pillowy yeast-raised donuts.

Try the blueberry yeast-raised donut or the sugar french cruller.

    Jelly Donut is what I would have recommended. There is a gourmet donut vendor at the ferry building farmers market on saturday that is good, but i forgot their name. the name is important since there are at least 2 outdoor donut vendors.
