I had the hugest crush on him. I kind of still do. Connor Trineer is Grade A beefcake.
He was a stuffy prude. He always rubbed me the wrong way. Don’t even get me started on his split loyalties.

Also, Malcom may or may not have been gay, Dominic Keating may or may not have played him as gay and Brannon Braga may or may not have told Keating Malcolm was gay just to wind him up. And yet, he had several girlfriends. Malcolm is apparently very confused about his sexuality. So yeah, he probably would be a cold fish.

Brennan Braga was a known homophobe (just like Rick Berman). I wouldn’t take any of that too seriously. It doesn’t surprise me at all that he screw around with Keating in that way. What an asshole. 
Yeah, but that doesn’t mean that Keating himself didn’t decide that his character was gay and think he was playing him that way as an actor no matter what the script actually said.
Which he may or may not have been doing depending on when he was asked.
Oh, I don’t doubt that Keating might have decided to do that. Andrew Robinson, on Deep Space 9 certainly did, even in defiance of what Rick Berman had said with regards to telling him to stop it. That shit went on throughout the entire show. 
For sure. Berman and Braga were total homophobes and it really held Star Trek back. But I was mostly just joking about Malcolm being too confused in his sexuality to be a good lover.
