I saw her get interviewed at ComiCon two years ago. I’d read about her firing, and I knew she was falling down some right-wing rabbit holes, so I was curious to see if her interview was insane. She did make one comment that confirmed she had become conspiracy-pilled (she made a reference to how we’re all, “living in the Matrix,” a common refrain in Qanon circles), but honestly, she just struck me as someone who was tired, lost, and sad.

I think she threw her career away trying to impress right-wing grifters. Now she’s about to get dragged into a what will probably be a long, difficult legal battle she’ll almost certainly lose by yet another scam artist. Even though I don’t particularly like her, I really can’t help but feel sorry for her.

And the really sad thing is, it won’t help her. Disney has a fantastic legal team for better or worse. She may have found work again (elsewhere), but doubling down makes that less likely, unless she wants to work for a pillow company.

She “suffered emotional damage and lost millions of dollars in income.” but she’s looking for “Lucasfilm to reinstate her or compensate her at least $75,000”? Elon paid for the garbo attorneys, apparently.

It’s really too bad that she couldn’t just keep her mouth shut and live her best acting life. Believe whatever you’re gonna believe, but don’t let it interfere with doing what you love.

I was just wondering what happened to this idiot. Ruined her entire career and went to make movies with Kirk Cameron
