We are visiting the inlaws and making dumplings.

No idea if that is a korean tradition or a chinese korean tradition.

    As a Malaysian chinese originated from southern China, it’s definitely not a tradition of our household, though i kinda wish it is 🤤

    Looks great. My in-laws occasionally do the mandu thing for New Years, but they’re all about doing songpyeon for Chuseok. Happy Solnal!

      I asked and they say it’s a northrtn china tradition, so it might have come from Mongolia indeed.

        there is an idea that the Mongols spread the food around. gyoza, perogi,.ravioli…

        not sure how true it really is, but it is a fun idea
