“Let them cook” has been my response to anyone rushing this DLC. The game itself took a while and it was worth the wait, this will be too.
Also, From Software goes hard on DLC. The Old Hunters for Bloodborne is the champ for me, but The Ringed City and Artorias of the Abyss were both amazing and essential experiences for their base games. Let. Them. Cook.
DS2 DLC was amazing. So much better than the base game.
Ok but not the Crown of the Ivory King’s optional area. Loyce Outskirts with those reindeer was a sick joke. If Miyazaki worked on it he would have had that area be a frozen poison swamp but even he wouldn’t have had those reindeer there.
Yeah horse fuck valley sucked. So did the optional area in the iron king. That gauntlet up to the blue smelter demon sucked. But other than that they are awesome.
I beat DS2 pre-DLC and I have tried to restart at least a dozen times. Maybe I’ll experience those some day.
The best kind of release date is no release date, it means that the dlc isn’t being rushed out to meet a deadline
Yup, I’ll take “when it’s ready” over a hard deadline any day of the week.
Fucking stoked. Take your time.
That’s fine. Everyone knows handcrafting those poison swamps takes time.
excuse me they are scarlet rot swamps now, it’s a totally different thing
As long as it’s being worked on I’m inclined to not worry about them not rushing it
gives me time to get a character ready, also it’s not like there aren’t a gazillion good games to play right now, there’s no hurry
