They said they wouldn’t put it on Game Pass but are doing so anyways. I’m guessing it under-performed.
As we continue to work toward regulatory approval of the Microsoft deal, we’ve been getting some questions whether our upcoming and recently launched games will be available via Game Pass," says the statement. “While we do not have plans to put Modern Warfare III or Diablo IV into Game Pass this year, once the deal closes, we expect to start working with Xbox to bring our titles to more players around the world. And we anticipate that we would begin adding games into Game Pass sometime in the course of next year.”
Seems like they said it wouldn’t come to game pass in 2023. Are you referring to a different quote?
No, they just had to wait until they slowly got enough micro transactions implemented.
I forget when this might’ve been said, but was this “they” Activision, or Microsoft-owned Activision?
I paid €45 and played for 35 hours. Wanted to play more but waited for the new season, and then just didn’t get to it. I still want to play it though, but i wish i waited for it to come to game pass. When they said “not soon” i didn’t expect it to arrive in 2024.
