And Montgomery Wards too (for muricans)

And somehow, getting the Target Christmas catalog is just not the same. I think it’s because online shopping kinda ruinded the whole buying things from a catalog experience. /shrug

Yep, ten year old me browsing the toy section until the spine of the Sears catalogue broke.

And, of course, thirteen year old me discovering boobies in the lingerie section

I wanted this canopy bed for my dolls that showed you what they were dreaming when you lifted the pillow so bad.

I used to look through an Argos catalogue when I was a kid around Xmas time for gift ideas.

My sisters and I would play snap with the Argos catalogue on a regular basis. Then we’d get into squabbles because “I was gonna snap that one!” “That’s not fair, I snapped it first!”

I had a whole system for labeling and dog-earing pages (most wanted: top corner with a post-it flag; second tier: top corner, no post-it flag; third tier: bottom corner).

I really really wanted a bunk bed with the bed on top and a desk area below. Didn’t get it. Come to think of it, I don’t think I ever got a single thing I asked for from the catalog!
