Ludwig held a chess boxing event with a bunch of streamers and YouTubers a few years ago. It was a good watch but he lost a lot of money and said he wouldn’t do it again.

I learned about this yesterday from a TheOdd1sOut video. The frequency illusion is real.

I was literally about to mention him.

I wonder why nobody managed to broadcast his match against… I think it was Alex Clark (maybe I’m wrong). It would’ve been amazing to see what it was like especially for people who can’t afford or don’t wanna attend, such as myself. In fact, because of this, I don’t even know who won.

The original of “guys play chess, then punch eachother so they play chess worse” sounds better

    For the lazy:

Chess boxing, or chessboxing, is a hybrid sport that combines two traditional disciplines: chess and boxing.[1][2] Two combatants play alternating rounds of blitz chess and boxing until one wins by checkmate or knockout. It is also possible to win by time penalty as in normal chess, and by boxing decision if there is a draw in the chess round.[3]

Punch the body untill he is gassed, then go for the jaw, not the cheek, not the eye. Jaw always moves more when hit, reducing the damage to your hands. Well, thats how grandpa explained bareknuckle to me

Do you mind if I ask how you percieve my username?

I seriously internally debated not using the word truth as neo-cons have tainted it but then I thought, no, if I back away from the word truth just because some people miss use it then thats just letting the baddies win.

But the truth is complicated, and often disturbing, hardly ever as simple as “orange man bad” or " Biden old". Even though both statements are ‘true’ neither one actually conveighs any usefull information or nuance. Orange man is also old, Biden also did some bad stuff (who hasnt?) So both statements are true in the simplified context, but in the context of making an informed decision as a voter both statements are so simple and frankly so dumb that they become invalid. Does that mean the statements are true in one context but false in a different context?

I’m just referencing your body punch/jaw punch. Savage but true.

ETA: I do appreciate your consideration of nuance and can’t disagree with anything you said wrt choosing your son.
