As far as I understand they discussed that the missiles could be used for this purpose. As of right now, the German chancellor is still adamant that they will not deliver this particular piece of equipment. The important part here is the security breach, the intel itself is hardly relevant.
The security breach was caused by idiocy - you don’t use Cisco malware WebEx for discussions about national security.
Those who made them use this crap should be demoted.
