“Obaa-chan, why do you live alone? Has your husband passed away?”

“No… I never had a husband… or the chance for one.”

“I’m sorry to hear that… if you don’t mind us asking, what do you mean?”

“Well, when I was young and had the beauty of youth, I was short, and a little less well-endowed compared to other young women… maybe it was due to poor nutrition, maybe it was genetic… Strangely, there were hardly any media or games showing women with my body type… since society always showed all these tall and well-endowed women in an amazing and glamorous manner, I felt insecure, and some of them even made fun of me for ‘not being enough of a woman…’ …it’s not my fault, it’s not as if I could have changed any of those things…”

“But surely there were some guys that didn’t mind your body type, right?”

"Yes, but they were shamed by society for liking people with my body type, and eventually they couldn’t take the pressure and left… I tried reaching out to them myself, but no man would be caught dead being seen beside me in public for fear of being shamed as well… eventually, as I aged, I lost the beauty of youth, and resigned myself to a lonely life…

“How tragic…”

“…yes. Clearly it was my fault for being born with the wrong body type… that made me too stupid to think for myself, unlike those who are tall and well-endowed… I should’ve roped myself from the beginning…”

Like it or not, weebs are entering Cup Sizes of Consent territory now. On top of the “Height of Consent” and “Face of Consent” rules, this rule seems to be “If you’re not at least a C, you can’t consent to the D.”

Said VN by u/Argent_OU is releasing on an smaller alternate storefront Itch.io (link NSFW) if you’d like to support probably the first and last game they’ll make with petite characters, since such actions by Steam’s Game Approval Committee will encourage future self-censorship in character designs from passionate game devs that don’t wanna starve.

And this dude was plenty passionate - enough to put his money where his passion was, even to the point of exhausting his savings.

Anyway, everyone knows that different body shapes and sizes don’t exist in reality, clearl-

Well, even if they do for genetic and environmental reasons, God forbid people in reality with these body types are depicted in games.

…but apparently 5 different “Sex With Hitler (link NSFW)” titles in the Steam store is perfectly fine as long as the girls are doubleplusgood tall and/or busty.

It really sucks, but I get it. They’ve decided to err well on the side of caution regarding that “things we think are illegal” clause. If the wrong person claimed that flat chested adult were a minor and proved it in court it could be a real problem for valve. Hell, it’d be expensive just to defend in court, even if they won. I hate it, but I understand why they’d make that decision.

They’re not being cautious though. The song of saya (a well known vn which has a Loli character and h scenes) is available to buy on steam, granted it’s probably a censored version but all the vn’s that are sold as censored have free patches you can get online.

They’re not “erring on the side of caution”, they’re cutting deep into the meat of games with censorship and moderation overreach.

it’d be expensive just to defend in court

Large corporations like Valve don’t pay per case, they have lawyers on retainer. They’re getting charged no matter what. This just reeks of laziness and bad management.

Complaining that boob size in video games is upsetting a demographic doesn’t make me upset at Steam. It makes me question you.

Is that what they’re doing, though? It’s certainly not my point. There are a variety of adult body types. M-rated games shouldn’t be prohibited from showing all but one. Question that all you want…

I hate this discussion. Getting people to understand how one can be into adult women even when they don’t possess a single physical feminine trait besides their genitals, is a slog.

I like a flat chest, a short stature, and a cute face. It would not be wholly incorrect to describe one of the types of girl I’m into as “child-like”. (Nevermind that the other end of my spectrum is well illustrated by [email protected])

When others notice, they assume the worst. Any attempt at further discussion is completely futile from then on.

No matter how carefully I explain that my lack of attraction for actual children isn’t enforced by the law or even my morals, but by the fact they don’t yet have a functioning thinking organ, people won’t hear a word of it. Confident in their assumption that they got it right and the “evil pedos” just can’t admit to their thought-crime.

If you can find adults who could be mistaken to be underage, attractive, people for whom that type of person is outside their personal physical preferences, will assume that you would also diddle a kid.

Because they’ve never felt that attraction, or else suppress it, and assume that it is normal. Never realising that different people are into different bodies, while every normal person still wants their partner to be mature, no matter their body type.

Must be nice to only be attracted to the biggest of tits, and thickest butts, to the point you never even have to doubt whether your partner is capable of consent.

In my experience, I’ve at times worried, and once backed out, because I didn’t feel someone I knew for a fact to be my age, was capable of consent. And not even in an “are they drunk” kind of way, but in a “I’m not sure this fellow 18-year-old is self-aware yet” kind of way.

When I was 19, I was dating a girl who was 18, who had a sister who was 15. The sister had a much bigger chest than my girlfriend. So… yeah. Larger cup size =/= legality.

One of my sisters got very busty very early. She got bullied for it. Fast forward a couple years and those same girls were bullying the flat ones.

Humans have no fucking idea how to deal with body image.

I’ve a niece that hit puberty early and people thought she was older than she was which inevitably led to creepy stuff happening. Body characteristics are nowhere near as infallible as some believe.

I don’t have boob prefernces, but I do cringe at action games having characters with big fat milkers. Some of these make me feel pain in my back just from seeing them running. I feel like if humanity survives another thousand of years with women as active in the workforce as men we’d come to relatively smaller sizes being the norm and breast reduction surgeries being more popular than implants.

Yeah. I have a preference for larger breasts, but mine are medium-small and it is extremely convenient. A single sports bra makes it so I have no issues with activities as a result of having breasts

I get your point, but let’s not call flat chested women “flatties”, even in imaginary quotes. There’s clearly enough of a stigma around petite women already.

I think literally the whole point here is that women with small breasts exist, and steam banning this game as a way to avoid backlash from a bunch of people who can’t look at someone as a woman unless they have a large chest is ridiculous.

Look around in real life, a full third of adult women have small breasts. It’s a totally normal thing for an adult to have small breasts. Also, it’s pretty normal for adult women to be shorter than 5’8", again a full third of adult women are shorter than that. Should these women be excluded and treated poorly for something they had no choice in? Should guys feel bad if they find that third of adult women more attractive than the ones that are going to need surgery at some point just to continue normal life? Breast size in real life and especially in fake content has gotten disturbingly out of hand.

Liking ladies that are physically fit instead of overweight is a pretty normal thing. Sure they’ll have “smaller” breasts without all the extra fat in them, but some of us find the extra fat to be gross instead of “better”. I’m glad there are people that prefer it, because those women need love too. But I like dancers, gymnasts and athletes better instead, sorry.

        1. The fact that you see adult women as little girls says more about you
        2. They literally don’t exist. They’re fictional characters.
