    Ergul is scheduled to be sentenced on May 30 for his crimes and could face as much as 21 years in prison, according to a statement from the U.S. Department of Justice on Thursday.

    Republicans are hoping it will be more like 4 so they can run him for congress in 2028.

    You get more years for this than attacking democracy? Really?

    I’m not down playing the severity of what he tried and I hope he gets the max years, but wtf.

      One is a conspiracy, this is a lone terrorist act. The capitol hill crowd is being charged as a group, more or less.
