    Let’s not forget that this happens because of poor regulations that make it easy for contaminated water to get into the produce fields.

    If it’s been a while, does that mean romaine lettuce has killed before? Am I complacent about a green killer among us?

      I was around for all the lettuce related outbreaks at Chipotle in 2015. The stock price tumbled like 40% because of that. Bunch of people got salmonella and E. coli.

        Time to start microwaving my lettuce! Or (more reasonably), just keeping it cleaner/fresher than some unfortunate minimum-wage fast-food worker.

          More like allow the migrant workers forced to pick it for sub minimum wage have access to clean facilities instead of making them just poo in the field.
