Nothing compares.
I’ve listened to so much drum n bass over the last 25 years. I’ve found plenty of stuff that I love, but this album tops them all, in my book.
Have you found anything remotely similar to Roni Size, Brown Paper Bag more specifically? I’ve been longing for more dnb with acoustic double bass since the early 00s.
I used to listen to Atlantis (was it?) by Buken yearrrrrs ago too.
ive listened to a lot too and something about this record just makes it so quintessential to the genre. the final product all aspire to be. just masterfully made

Really confused about this track, having never heard it before - and both owning and playing to death the original 1997 CD release.
Turns out its from a 20th aniversary release of the album.
