        You can also install the PWA from your browser. Go to lemmy on your mobile browser, go to your browser menu, and click install.

          had no idea about this, I’ve been using it in the browser because Jerboa is clunky and still lacking a bunch of features, thanks for the tip

              yeah I know, it’s still missing kinda basic stuff like moderator tools (or if they’re there I can’t find them, which is another problem) and I find the overall UI less intuitive than the web app. I know it’s in the early stages and I’m not trying to shit on the app or devs in any way. just doesn’t seem like the best way to use the platform at the moment.

                both got their pros and cons. i like how the mobile app shows the text of the post, which i wish the website did. but yeah, the dev is heavily working on the app, so lots of progress being made afaik.

    Jerboa as it’s the only “decent” one, there is also Lemmur but I didn’t tried it and also some user said it’s unmantained

    Firefox for Android. I “installed” the website of my home instance as an icon on my home screen. Mobile site works great and functions much like an app.
