First thing I thought when doing the bug spray missions last night was, “That’s a fucking worm… Oh god, there’s a worm coming!” I kept checking the horizon to see if there was anything. Why else would there suddenly be consistent tremors across a planet when we haven’t experienced them before?
Oooh I hate the ones with wings that jump, those are the worst!!
Hunters. You hate hunters. Hunters are the worst. Like good on the devs for making a low-tier enemy that challenges a player when they swarm or if the player turns their back on them, but at the same time, fuck hunters.
Stalkers. Fuck Stalkers.
Hunters, I can manage. Bob & weave, pick 'em off, bait them to leap and sidestep to blast them in mid-air. Even better when you can line them up so they land in front of the next one and the blow-through catches the next one. Later, rinse, repeat.
Invisible ambushers that throw and stun you, but scurry away before you can get a shot off? Fuck Stalkers.
edit: Also, worms?! Without a decent sprint speed or tactical dodge controls? Fuuuuckinghell. 👀
