Maybe the one guy’s father is called Christian. So he’s Christian’s (son) and just likes a good bar fight if there’s an opportunity. He doesn’t care about the fanfiction.

Judging by the lack of a comma, the father’s name might be Jews Christian.

They will never learn cause they’re not actually fighting over religious differences. Their religion is their tribe and they’re fighting the other tribes over land, resources and “honor”.

Why do the Christians warrant an incorrect apostrophe? They’re all plurals, right? No apostrophes needed.

From time to time the Atheist will get a burger thrown at them, a soft drink, some hot tea and threatened with a knife or gun.

Aren’t Christians and Muslims the fan fic while Jews are just fiction

That’s an interesting question since so much of Judiac literature wasn’t finalized until the 4th century. And there are hints that Christianity feed back into Judaism. Like for example the ordering of the Hebrew Bible, the fall of the Book of Enoch from a privileged position, the development of a full afterlife, and things about the Messiah prophecies.

I heard one of the X-Men movies had a line lifted from a popular fan creation on YouTube. Yes it was the one about the Juggernaut. So maybe that is more like what happened.

I’ve been reading some really awesome books lately, so here’re some recommendations for history nerds who are atheist:

The Origin of Satan: How Christians Demonized Jews, Pagans, and Heretics

    The Passover Plot

The Gospel of Mary of Magdala: Jesus and the First Woman Apostle

The first gave me a ton of background on the intended audience of the gospels. Huge enjoyment. Very engaging.

The second reveres Jesus as a man who was incredibly intelligent and engineered his own sacrifice. Still reading.

The third examines teachings that salvation is found within and requires no higher authority. No wonder it was suppressed.

Poor Baha’i, no one even considers them worth mocking. Someone carve out a Baha’i homeland in Iran so people will remember they exist and our descendents will hate us for adding yet another skydaddy faction.

      Tell that to Palestine.

All three mostly keep to themselves, until they’re the dominant religion in a given area, then they go into full on theocracy.

First off when people talk about theocracy they don’t mean that there is literally no secular government anymore than they when they talk about capitalism that there are no civil servants. It isn’t a black and white you are a theocracy or you are not deal.

Secondly yeah it is a theocracy. Sure there are elections but that doesn’t mean that religion doesn’t have a way oversized presence in government than it should have. Just look at the crazy weird legal stuff required for gay marriage there, you want to get gay married in Israel you need to do it on zoom with a company in Utah of all places.

Good for not street preaching. You get one point. Don’t waste it.
