Mass production is pretty much the cost issue which I mentioned.
Well, mass production, power supply, and maybe strength/combat ability. I can think of a few problems they need to solve before this is viable.
Taking this to a logical conclusion, what would then be able to stop a single billionaire with access to almost unlimited resources from building his own army of humanoid robots and taking over a country by force?
I shudder to think of what Elon Musk would do with this tech.

Elon, unfortunately, will not be the last billionaire. One with even less of a moral compass will very likely come up, since we haven’t put Musk’s head on the fence post yet as a warning to his kind.
