4 years ago to this day depending on where you were you had either just started covid lock downs or were about to. You probably chose the worst number of years ago to pick as a reference point

Hey, look at all the terrible things in the news lately, like the Trump appointed judge overturning Roe v Wade, or the Trump appointed judge that decided Jan 6th was not an excuse to deny traitors running for office, or the Trump appointed judge that decided…

Good point. I always think of conservatives as the type that can go outside. See that it is raining. They start to get wet because of the rain pouring down on them. And they have the nerve to conclude that it is indeed raining. As a proud liberal I have the ability under the same circumstances to deny that it is raining as long as the media and DNC tell me that it is not raining. Makes life so much easier not taking on the hard work of thinking for myself.

Even disregarding the pandemic, some of us graduated college between 1 and 4 years ago, or switched to higher paying jobs (such as during the tech hiring boom).

I don’t agree. My life is pretty awesome now compared to 4 years ago. I have a kid, two new luxury watches, and I’m making $39k more a year now. I’m very happy with the current state of my life. Plus, the value of my home is up more than 50% now.

Plus, according to a fairly recent Pew survey, people identifying as Christians are down to 63% and people identifying as religiously unaffiliated is up to 29%. So, things are trending in good directions.

four years ago i was strung-out from watching a rapist criminal sit in the oval office everyday who found a massive constituency by disclosing to the world that he is a supporter of white supremacist groups, has great ambitions to lead an authoritarian government, and will gladly tear down protections for our citizens in favor of handing out more tax breaks for the ultra-wealthy
