    Screw ever making a meringue by hand. I am pretty sure my arm would be sore for a week these days. I had to do it once during grad school when my mixer broke mid-bake and it wasn’t fun.

    Also, I have some family that is hard of hearing and they use kitchen timers that also flash to avoid the issue shown here where she can’t hear the timer going off.

      Sort of relevant and, hopefully, serious question: what kind of morning alarm does a hearing impaired person use?

        My family can hear well enough that they are fine with just an extra loud alarm clock. However, they also make things like vibrating watch or pillow alarms as well.
