Using Arc weaponry will probably make the game crash. Arrowhead has confirmed this and is working on a patch. Release window is early next week.
No Arc thrower, Arc shotgun, or Tesla tower until next patch.
… Reminds me when emoting on Vermintide 2 would crash the game…

I hope they add incendiary grenades to the weapon through an upgrade path like HD1.
I have been using the absolute pants of the grenade launcher and I love it.
Still crashing without these often enough that I’m hesitant to even play. Especially at extract. Something fucky going on there.
Yep I crashed when nobody was using arc weapons. So it could be something else that is causing it that the arc weapons just happen to expose quicker.
Same for me so out of curiosity I did a “Verify game files” on Steam and it redownload 1 file and the following games ran fine. It could have been a coincidence but might be worth trying.
That gives me time to save up super credits for the new arc-heavy warbond then.
Played for 4hrs after the patch, no crashing on our squad of 4. Hopefully they get it resolved quickly
Played a game at lunch and the other 3 were all saying they had kept crashing, and they heard it was ARCs.
None of us used it, and no crashes.
Heard it was something about how it keeps stacking DOT so fast that the game can’t handle it.
Was with someone today using the arc weapon and it never crashed. But crashed 3x after that with no ark weapons
Even picked it up and was using it.
Had more crashes at loading screens today
