    This is the one in Pittsburgh? That place is so cool. When I went (maybe 2018?) they had an outdoor falconry show that we attended on the roof, and they had their peregrine falcon free fly and dive bomb past the audience several times. The speed is absolutely shocking if you’ve never seen it close up!

    And your bird paintings are gorgeous! Do you keep them for yourself or sell them?

      This is all stuff from my visit to the National Aviary in Pittsburgh this week. I did a lot of owl related things while I was there, so I’m sharing the best of the bunch a bit at a time.

      They did tell us about the falcon show they do when the weather is warmer. I did the owl meet and greet with little Cedar the Screech Owl, if you haven’t seen my previous 2 posts, I review that.

      I do wanna see a Peregrine dive bomb very much!

      The paintings were from the Birds of Prey hallway there too.
